This policy is effective as of March 6, 2006. Look What I Drawed!™ KidArt Company only collects and stores personal information that is voluntarily provided by you. This information includes such things as email, postal address, telephone, sales history and survey data. The information is used for the purposes of: (1) Web site improvement; (2) Customer communications; (3) Product-Service development; and (3) Product-Service fulfillment. None of your personal information is ever shared with third parties for other commercial purposes without your consent.

Financial data such as your credit card information required for making purchases, is collected via a secure and encrypted server managed by PayPal (third party service provider). This means that Look What I Drawed!™ KidArt Company does not collect your financial information directly, so we never actually see your credit card number. This is a security measure for your benefit.

If our information practices ever change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes here on our web site.

All of our broadcast email communications contain an 'Opt-Out' link should you ever want to stop receiving them. If you would like us to review / remove / update / change any of your personal information that we may have on file, please send an email request. 3. How does your Love-It-Or-Send-It-Back-For-A-Full-Refund guarantee policy work?

Basically, if you don’t absolutely love your finished Look What I Drawed!™ Painting, then you can send it back for a full refund within 30 days from when it arrives on your door step.

And you can keep the special gift fridge magnets as a token of our appreciation just for giving us a try. Please note that the original shipping costs can not be refunded.

In the event you decide to return your purchase, send us a note via email, and we will provide you with detailed instructions for making the process go smoothly. The return shipping costs will be your responsibility.

The refund amount will be issued in the currency of the original payment, to the same credit card, or in the same format used at the time of the purchase. The painting must be sent back in the same condition as when you originally received it.

It should be noted that the painting cannot be reproduced elsewhere by any other means without our consent. Once a refund has been issued, Look What I Drawed!™ KidArt Company retains full design rights to the painting and will have the option to re-sell the painting at our sole discretion. These measures allow us to help offset the expense of offering such a strong return policy on these unique pieces of original, hand-painted art.

4. I'm not receiving all of the email communications you send out. How do I put you on my email white list?

Our verified-double-opt-in procedure ensures that most all of our email messages will be received by you. However, if you also want add our kidsart4kidsrooms.com domain to your email white list for added peace of mind, here's how:

Instructions for AOL users:

· Open your AOL e-mail account

· Click "Address Book"

· Click "Add Contact"

· Create a contact listing for "Look What I Drawed" with the primary e-mail address of info@kidsart4kidsrooms.com

Instructions for Hotmail users:

· Open your Hotmail e-mail account

· Click "Contacts"

· In the left-hand menu, click "Safe List"

· Enter kidsart4kidsrooms.com and click "Add"

Instructions for Yahoo! Users:

· Open your Yahoo! e-mail account

· Click "Mail" and select "Options"

· Click "Filters"

· Click "Add"

· Click in the text box in the top row ("From header") and enter kidsart4kidsrooms.com

· In the pull-down menu for "Move the message to" choose "Inbox"

· Click "Add Filter"

· You should also repeat the procedure above to add our full email address: info@kidsart4kidsrooms.com

Instructions for other e-mail services and spam software:

· Add kidsart4kidsrooms.com to your address book or to your list of "allowed" contacts

· If you can't add an entire domain (kidsart4kidsrooms.com) to your contacts list, the email address you should add is: info@kidsart4kidsrooms.com

5. If I pay by credit card using your online order form, will my transaction be secure? And... do you accept other methods of payment?

We use PayPal as our credit card payment processor. When it comes time to enter your credit card information during the ordering process, you will actually be on the PayPal secure server. This can be verified in the address line of your web browser. The URL will start with "https" instead of "http" (little "s" stands for "secure").

If you would rather pay by Check, Money Order or Other means, that’s OK. But please keep in mind that it can extend the wait time to receive delivery of your product. This is because non-credit card transactions typically take longer to clear through the banking systems. Also, having to rely on snail mail for sending checks or money orders, can slow down the process as well. Please contact us directly to discuss alternative payment methods

6. Please tell me about your shipping policy?

We ship using a flat fee ground rate for anywhere in the continental US ($20 US Currency) or Canada ($20 CDN Currency). If you live elsewhere including Hawaii, Alaska or International, please contact us directly for these shipping rates before finalizing your order. Also, please contact us if you would like to request alternative shipping arrangements, or quicker delivery than our normal ground rate service.

Please note that your delivery address must have a valid home or office street number. The couriers we work with do not accept PO Box numbers.

If you want multiple paintings sent to the same address in the same order, we will cover the additional shipping charges as an additional thank you for doing business with us.

7. If my order is shipped from Canada to the United States, will there be any unexpected custom broker and/or duty charges that I need to worry about?

No. We have taken care of all the details so that your shopping experience will be just as if you were buying from a company located in the United States. In fact we even have a US mailing address for your convenience. It is: 477 Peace Portal Drive, Suite 107-175, Blaine, WA 98230.

8. Why does it take 3-6 weeks to receive my Look What I Drawed!™ Painting?

Each Look What I Drawed!™ Painting is an original work of art created at the time of your order – not a print that can be inventoried and shipped out for next day delivery. You know what they say... Good things take time! The 3 - 6 week range accounts for the number of orders that are currently being processed.

9. How much longer does it take to create a CUSTOM Look What I Drawed!™ Painting versus a STOCK Look What I Drawed!™ Painting?

This is a bit of a tough question to answer. It really depends on how much back and forth dialog is required for the CUSTOM painting, regarding details about your child's drawing.

10. You have 3 canvas sizes: 16"x20", 16"x16" and 12"x24". How do you determine which one to use? And... why are they all the same price?

All kids drawings fall into one of three general shape categories - Square (16"x16"); Rectangular (16"x20"); or Long/Narrow (12"x24"). This is what determines the canvas size to be used. Although a square subject could physically be presented on a rectangular canvas, the final presentation would just not look as good. With art, proper formatting and framing is so important.

The reason why the 3 size configurations are priced the same, is because they all take the same amount of time to paint, and there is no significant difference in the cost of the materials.

11. Can you do special request canvas sizes for your CUSTOM Look What I Drawed!™ Paintings?

Absolutely! Just send us a note outlining your specific needs. We would be happy to provide a quote. Be sure to let us know how urgently you would need the painting. Putting together custom quotes takes time. So all we ask is that you are fairly serious if you ask for one. Thank you in advance.

Please keep in mind that when we stray from the standard sizes, labor costs rise significantly. This is because it is time consuming to source non-stock materials. Plus, the cost of the materials go up since we do not get our regular volume discounts.

12. Other than the choice of unfinished vs finished black frames, why don't you offer different matting and framing options?

Most of our customers really appreciate being able to purchase Look What I Drawed!™ paintings already framed. Since the professional framing package is offered at half price when you order a painting, we had to keep things relatively simple.

Much research went into the design process. Our versatile charcoal-black hardwood frames complimented by espresso-brown matting, creates a timeless look that is not only popular today, but will continue to be for many years to come.

13. What if I would like to make specific color requests for my CUSTOM Look What I Drawed!™ Painting?

That’s Ok. There is a form that you will be able to fill out when it comes time to send us your child’s drawing. This form has a section where you can tell us about your specific color choices.

14. Why is there no glass protecting the Look What I Drawed!™ stretched canvas paintings?

For 2 reasons... (1) Original paintings should not be sealed behind a sheet of glass which can trap moisture and lead to mildew damage - the canvas needs to breath; and (2) Glass in a child's room could potentially shatter and create a safety issue, if the painting were to ever drop.

Since kids like to touch things (it's part of how they learn), we apply a UV protective clear coat to every painting. This increases the durability so that your Look What I Drawed!™ masterpiece will still look great even after the kids are all grown up and are sporting kids of their own.

15. Can I create my own digital images of Look What I Drawed!™ Paintings for use on printed cards and/or other formats?

The short answer is, no. Just like with any other art that you purchase, there are copyright laws designed to protect the professional creator or author of the piece. Even though the painting may have been based on your own child's drawing, the copyright to the unique canvas art rendering, is actually still owned by Look What I Drawed!™ KidArt Company. It is how we make our living so that we can raise our own children.

That being said, please realize that we are very customer friendly, and will do everything within our means to accommodate your needs. For example, we can transform your Look What I Drawed!™ Painting into 5"x7" Art Cards on specialty canvas stock for a very reasonable price. You can request more info or make any other creative requests by sending us a note via email.

16. For CUSTOM Look What I Drawed!™ Paintings, do I need to send you the original copy of my child's drawing?

No. We would actually prefer that you keep it in a safe place so that nothing ever happens to it. The copy you send to us via email, fax or snail mail will be sufficient for our needs.

What most people do is attach their child's original drawing to the back of the finished Look What I Drawed!™ Painting... along with a hand written story about the picture. It is these emotional and endearing stories that help to add so much value to the painting over time.

17. How do I send a copy of my child's drawing to you?

(1) You can email us a digital color picture or a scan of the image which is the quickest and most preferred method. (2) You can forward a black and white version via regular fax machine. Or, (3) you can use the postal service to forward a photocopy or photo of the drawing. More specific and detailed instructions will be provided at the time of your order.

18. My child did an adorable pencil drawing that I would love to have transformed into a Look What I Drawed!™ Painting... but it is all crinkled up and it's quite small. Is this OK?

Absolutely! The condition and whether it is colored or not, doesn’t matter as long as the lines are clear. The size is also not an issue. We have the ability to enlarge the image to fit the canvas.

19. Do kids ever have an issue with someone else mess'n with their original drawing?

This is a great question. We were concerned about this possibility of this being an issue, even before the company launched. The last thing we wanted was for kids to feel slighted in any way. But after talking with a lot of children and observing their reactions to the finished Look What I Drawed!™ Paintings, we were pleased to see that they very much appreciated seeing their artwork showcased in such a professional manner.

None of the proportions of the original drawings are changed in any way, which means that your child will end up identifying with the finished product as their very own. We even sign off on each painting with your child's name in the lower corner – just like you would see on any other professional work of art. Most kids get a huge boost of self esteem from the whole Look What I Drawed!™ experience.

20. What if my child is not an artist? Or... what if my child is not able to draw something specific for a theme that I'm putting together?

According to Picasso... "every child is an artist." And who are we to argue with someone of his stature. If you haven't already, please read our How to Select Kids Drawings page. We have included some real life stories that may just change the way you think about your child's art. You'll be amazed at how even the most quirky kids drawings can be transformed into designer quality, masterpiece paintings.

21. You talk about the Big, Bold, Simple formula for creating childrens art for kids rooms? What do you mean by this?

Basically, the images in the finished piece should be Big, Bold and Simple. This is what kids relate to best. It is also what shows best on the wall from a decor perspective.

With this Big, Bold and Simple approach, we will typically focus and expand on only one or two key elements of a child’s drawing instead of the whole picture. Children often draw scenes with lots of small details. Unfortunately, these scenes do not translate very well, when it comes to creating Look What I Drawed!™ Kids Wall Art Paintings.
