At
Look What I
Drawed!™ KidArt Company, our passion is to show parents
and kids room decor specialists, that children’s artwork has so much
more potential than what you might normally give it credit
Decorating the refrigerator door with your child's art is certainly a loving gesture – it’s one of those things that we as parents do, to encourage their self esteem. In addition, having your child’s creative art works professionally transformed into Legacy Childrens Wall Art Paintings, takes the concept of showing your kids how proud you are of them, to a whole new level.
It's the Quirky, Untrained Kid Drawingsthat Are Most Delightful. Please keep in mind that it is not necessary for your child to be an accomplished Picasso for this Look What I Drawed!™ Childrens Wall |

In
fact, it’s the quirky untrained drawings that are most delightful.
It does not matter if the physical condition of the original drawing is of poor quality. As you can see above, the adorable baby picture on the right was painted from the ripped and torn version to the left. No problem! Often you will find a gem of a drawing on some project sheet your child brings home from preschool or kindergarten. Below is a cuddly example of Bear. How cute is that!
Sometimes the perfect drawing will be hiding in amongst
other pictures your child doodled onto a scrap
during a family games night, while you all were playing Junior Pictionary™ together. The Doggy picture to the right was inspired from the doodle art to the left. This example shows how it is usually best to focus on only one element of a child's drawing when it comes to creating Look What I Drawed!™ Childrens Wall Art Paintings. The ideal formula is... Big, Bold and Simple!
Big-Bold-Simple... EqualsProfessional-Versatile-TimelessBy following our Big-Bold-Simple formula, you will end up with art that works best from a professional decorating perspective. After all, if your painting is designed to look great on any wall (i.e. not just in the childrens bedroom), the chances of it lasting as a family heirloom keepsake, are far, far greater. The time will come when your child grows up to become a young adult. You know, that crazy phase before they settle down - the period of their life when their level of maturity often comes into question. You know... because you went through it yourself, right? Well... during this phase, your "child" will probably be off globe trotting around the world... or studying (a.k.a partying) at college. It is at this time that you will most likely develop an even greater sentimental attachment to your Legacy Childrens Wall Art Painting. Where will it end up? In your bedroom? The family room? On a wall in the main hallway? How about the kitchen... or your office? Where ever it goes, you are going to want it to work well, from a decor perspective. That is why we have spent some time right here, educating you about the Big-Bold-Simple formula. The next set of images below, is another Before & After Example to illustrate how we focus in on one main element of a child's drawing. This is a unique example from a mom, that for many years, held onto a drawing that her daughter did of a classroom scene and teacher. As fate would have it, the young daughter grew up to become a teacher herself. The Legacy Childrens Wall Art Painting below (the After image to the right), was a surprise gift for the daughter on her 29th birthday. Needless to say, it was a very special and thoughtful present that will be cherished for many years to come.
“Every Child is an Artist! The Problem is How to Remain An ArtistOnce He [She] Grows Up.” ...PicassoHere's a short story that illustrates Picasso's famous quote about childrens art. An educator once posed a question to a group of kindergarten kids. “Who in this room can draw?” he asked. All of the little children enthusiastically raised their hands high into the air. Why of course they all can draw. It just takes a pencil or crayon and some paper, don’t you know! The educator then posed the same question to a group of seniors in high school. Not surprisingly, only 3 or 4 of the students put their hands up on this go round. What tends to happen over time is that we bench mark our abilities against others who appear to be more talented than ourselves. Unfortunately, at some point along the way, most people come to believe that they can no longer draw.
Picasso realized
this a long time ago when he said, “Every child is an artist. The
problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” Cindy Lietz, the resident artist at Look What I Drawed!™Kidart Company, has a unique ability to bring even the most innocent and simple line drawings to life – full of emotion, in brilliant color, on artist quality canvas. It is truly a transformational process that is guaranteed to Wow and Inspire. Who knows, your child may become so inspired that they end up following in footsteps of the some of the greatest artists, inventors and innovators of our time. Many educators subscribe to the philosophy that… “Art Makes You Smart.” At Look What I Drawed!™ KidArt Company, we believe this to be absolutely true, too!
Kids Drawings are Full of Imaginationthat Will Always Make You Smile.
A few years back, little
Willow Lietz was learning all about belly buttons. [By the
way, Willow's younger brother Fisher, once drew a picture of the Mailman... gave him a pair of sneakers that were larger than life. To this 4 year old, big shoes meant having the advantage when it came to trekking up and down the street, delivering letters and packages all day. Now there's some imagination that should get you smiling.
Choose Drawings Linked to anEndearing and Memorable Story. Here’s another great story to show you that kids always have something imaginative to say (and draw). A grade 1 teacher once gave her class a drawing assignment. “Create anything you like,” she said. As the children worked away at their desks, she walked around the room and eventually came to stop where little Johnny was sitting. His drawing was of a man, so she asked who it was. Johnny proudly replied, “Why that’s a picture of Jesus.” Being very careful not to question his confidence in any way, the teacher remarked, “How do you know what Jesus looks like? They say no one has ever really seen him.” Little Johnny paused for a moment and then with conviction responded, “Well, after I get done drawing him, EVERYONE will know exactly what he looks like!” At Look What I Drawed!™ our goal is to capture the wonderful innocence of young children through their art – and to preserve their adorable stories, forever on canvas. The wonderful stories that get linked to your child’s drawings, are absolutely invaluable. They become an integral part of every single Legacy Childrens Wall Art Painting. This level of sentimental attachment pretty much guarantees that your Look What I Drawed!™ artwork will be around for a long, long time.
Look What I Drawed!™ Childrens Wall Art Can Actually Relieve Stress in Your Life!A surprisingly delightful fringe benefit... The following story comes from Cindy Lietz - from her perspective as a Mom rather than from her role as a professional artist.
"Imagine having a piece of your child’s art that is so
endearing, you can’t help but smile every time you see it… no
matter how frustrating your day has been. Once, after returning home
from a particularly difficult morning dropping Willow off at school,
I will always remember seeing her painting of the Two Pigs
hanging on the hallway wall.
The coy look on
their mischievous faces, instantly
“I can’t think of anything else that represents my children as strongly as their art does. I passionately believe that every parent would benefit from this type of special connection. Your child’s art really will make you smile and feel an overwhelming sense of love towards them.”

Perhaps Your Own Mom had theForesight to Hide Away some of YourEarly Childhood Drawings...
"My mom
did!" [The following story comes from
Doug Lietz, the entrepreneur dad working behind the scenes at
Look What I Drawed! KidArt Company]. "In our master bedroom, Cindy and I now have a hand painted portrait of Cowboy Doug - complete with potato body, no elbow arms, orange Wrangler vest, red handkerchief bandana and purple chaps. He came to be way back in 1968 when I was only 6 years old. One of the special things about this painting is that my kids (Willow and Fisher) now have the opportunity to see something that their Daddy drew when I was their age.
In another example, one of our customers sent us a Bride and Groom picture that her daughter Lara, drew in 1984 when she was eight. Twenty one years later, Lara got married. What perfect timing to rekindle this fond childhood memory in the form of an emotionally charged Look What I Drawed!™ Childrens Wall Art Painting.
“...As an engagement gift for my daughter, I had Cindy paint up a drawing Lara did as a child, of herself as a bride and her future groom. When she opened her gift, it was like fireworks went off!! It was such a big hit that we had Cindy and Doug print the image onto some art cards we then used as invitations to a family reunion. Thank you so much!” Helen Smith Click on the Following Link for more endearing customer stories: Look What I Drawed!™ Children Wall Art Stories
